foot in the door

i can’t believe it. i’m closer to my dream. in a few days, maybe if i’m lucky, a few hours, the rest of my entries will make it here.

this was the dream in 2005: to have my own space. my own home. my freedom.

in 2006, i was invited by a wonderful woman to join her community of bloggers. as i’ve done in the past, i said “yes” to the unknown, put on the mantle of adventure and let the chips fall where they may. after months of waiting, nights of thinking-weighing-reflecting on the possibility of going back to the world of blogging, i finally took the bull by the horns and bought my own domain, got a hosting service, and today, i am here, unremovable for at least the next twelve months.

if this dream grows wings, the world will look great from above football fields will become more real, tennis courts larger, and formula racing circuits will sear the senses.

i still can’t quite believe i’m here. at the beginning. all i need to do now is to move forward. one step at a time. and the path will be made.
